Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Kelvin (ranked 765 p4p, 719 weight class) and Luke Jackson (ranked 87 p4p, 79 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Kelvin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luke Jackson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Kelvin.
It looks like Luke Jackson has been cut. Jackson misses with a body punch
and Kelvin counters with a nice uppercut. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelvin moves away. Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing. Kelvin loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch. Jackson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kelvin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away. Jackson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kelvin on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kelvin throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it. Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kelvin looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range. Kelvin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kelvin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson. A big right from Kelvin misses. Jackson throws out a counter right but Kelvin avoids it with no problem. Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelvin clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The fighters circling - Kelvin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A nice side step and Jackson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Kelvin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jackson throws a jab when Kelvin was well out of range. Donk. Kelvin catches Jackson right on the button with a cross. Jackson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson connects with a body shot. Kelvin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kelvin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A jab from Kelvin misses. Jackson lands a body shot.
Jackson throws a hook but Kelvin blocks it. Some wild striking there from Jackson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Jackson misses. Kelvin appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kelvin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kelvin lands the left hand. Kelvin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

A jab from Kelvin misses. Kelvin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kelvin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Kelvin swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.

Kelvin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A swing and a miss from Jackson. Kelvin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kelvin misses with an uppercut. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jackson! But no joy. Jackson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kelvin counters with a one-two to the body. Kelvin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelvin avoids a punch combination nicely.

Kelvin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Kelvin lands an overhand right. Kelvin misses with a two punch combination.
Kelvin scores with a jab. Jackson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jackson scores with a nice strike. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelvin moves away. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kelvin looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range. Jackson scores with a nice strike. Jackson cracks Kelvin with an open hand slap. Kelvin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Kelvin will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Luke Jackson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Kelvin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kelvin scrambles back to his feet. Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kelvin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jackson under the eye. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Kelvin. Kelvin loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch. Jackson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Jackson looks to land a right hand but Kelvin moved out of range. Kelvin lands a two punch combo.
Jackson is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kelvin cracks Jackson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jackson falls backwards against the cage. Kelvin follows up with more strikes that drop Jackson to his knees. Kelvin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jackson! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Kelvin! After winning the bout, Andrew Kelvin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
