Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Ramos (ranked 403 p4p, 2310 weight class) and Huug Schlepper (ranked 56 p4p, 269 weight class). Schlepper has chosen AC/DC - Highway to Hell as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franz Ramos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Huug Schlepper! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ben Watson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schlepper sprawling to the canvas! Schlepper rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ramos finish him?!
It looks like Huug Schlepper has been cut. Ramos throws a hook but Schlepper blocks it. Ramos just misses with a punch to the body.
Schlepper closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ramos to the mat! Ramos manages to get full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ramos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramos keeping full guard, as Schlepper tries to pass. Schlepper showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Schlepper trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schlepper content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ramos tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ramos trying to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ramos leaves Schlepper with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Schlepper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ramos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Schlepper is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramos is trying to improve his position. Ramos trying to remain calm as Schlepper controls from the top position. Schlepper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ramos has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Ramos is trying to get back to half guard. Schlepper tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schlepper is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ramos is trying to escape and Schlepper transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ramos is forced to tap! Nice work there by Schlepper! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Huug Schlepper! Huug Schlepper was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
