Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Iason (ranked 5167 p4p, 4622 weight class) and Sigandi Legend Jr (ranked 546 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigandi Legend Jr will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iason moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Iason drives through and clinches with Legend Jr against the cage.
Iason is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Legend Jr is defending well.
Legend Jr can't get the takedown.

Iason escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck for Iason with that takedown attempt.
Iason could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Iason shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Legend Jr wants to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Legend Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Iason connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Legend Jr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Iason defends it nicely.

I was talking to Iason's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Iason. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Iason scores with a one two! Legend Jr had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Legend Jr is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Iason looks for a takedown but Legend Jr sprawls well.

Iason lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Iason manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Legend Jr on his heels. He'll look to pass Legend Jr's guard now, I'm sure.
Iason is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Iason forces Legend Jr back against the cage and clinches.
Legend Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Iason pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Iason lands a big head kick that sends Legend Jr tumbling to the mat! Iason takes a step backwards and waves Legend Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Legend Jr is rocked!

It looks like Sigandi Legend Jr has been cut.
Legend Jr drops his hands momentarily and Iason needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Legend Jr just on the top of the head. Legend Jr drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Legend Jr - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Adam Iason!
