Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamburger Jones (ranked 1217 p4p, 2821 weight class) and Koen Kingston (ranked 158 p4p, 323 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Koen Kingston was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hamburger Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Koen Kingston! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones staying out of range there. Kingston throws a shot to the body.
Kingston throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kingston throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it. Kingston pushes Jones away with a front kick. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Hamburger Jones has been cut. Kingston swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingston lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jones misses with a looping left. Kingston throws a leg kick and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Kingston didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Kingston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kingston wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jones passes into half guard. Kingston keeping control of the position. Jones moves into full mount! Kingston won't be happy about that! Kingston is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kingston defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones. Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Kingston is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones. Jones wants to take Kingston's back here but Kingston is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kingston can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones working for a submission but Kingston is keeping him at bay. Jones content just to control the position here. Kingston tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control but Kingston is having none of it. Kingston is working to get back to half guard.
Kingston is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Jones has taken his back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones looking for the choke from the back. Jones tries to keep control of the position but Kingston is staying busy. Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Jones has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kingston is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Jones struggling to keep hold of the position.
Kingston is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jones gets his way!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingston tries to escape the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hamburger Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hamburger Jones's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Jones shoots in for a double leg but Kingston sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Kingston counters with a straight right hand. Hamburger Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kingston steps in with a hook that catches Jones right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kingston follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jones looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koen Kingston! Koen Kingston is the new heavyweight champion!
