Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marco Bjurstrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dax Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjurstrom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ryan! But no joy.
Bjurstrom scores with a jab.
Bjurstrom clinches up with Ryan and pushes him back against the cage.
Ryan wants the takedown. Bjurstrom is fighting it off but Ryan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bjurstrom's guard against the cage.
Bjurstrom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ryan is aware though and is defending well.
