Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cifaretto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cifaretto fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dean throws the left hand but Cifaretto avoids the punch easily.
Dean looks to land a left hand but Cifaretto moved out of range nicely.
We've been told by Cifaretto's head coaches at Top of Food Chain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dean lands with a nice body kick.
Cifaretto on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Dean throws an overhand right that lands on Cifaretto's shoulder, as Cifaretto tries to avoid the shot.
Dean scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dean displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cifaretto.
Dean digs a good hook to Cifaretto's body.
Dean misses with a wild body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Dean counters with a nice uppercut.

Cifaretto closes the distance and clinches up with Dean, looking for a takedown. Cifaretto pushes Dean against the cage but Dean circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cifaretto shoots in looking for a takedown but Dean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cifaretto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cifaretto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dean defends well and Cifaretto ends up having to push Dean into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cifaretto tries to score a body lock takedown but Dean shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dean lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Dean.
Cifaretto is working for takedown but Dean is calmly controlling the position for now.

Cifaretto takes a shot to the head.
Dean goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dean tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Dean stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Dean lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cifaretto or not.

Dean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cifaretto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dean counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cifaretto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Oooooh!!! Dean has knocked Cifaretto down with a huge combo! Dean steps away and waves a wobbly Cifaretto back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Cifaretto is rocked!
Cifaretto is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Dean doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Cifaretto crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Cifaretto's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randall Dean!
