Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ching Chong (ranked 3536 p4p, 4998 weight class) and Oisin Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ching Chong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Oisin Nolan! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nolan duly obliges. Chong looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Nolan gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Chong counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Nolan throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Nolan misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Nolan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chong pulls his head out easily. Nolan wants to control but Chong is keeping busy.
Nolan tries to roll over but Chong keeps him under control. Nolan gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nolan pulls Chong in to control the position. Nolan throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Nolan looking for a guillotine here but Chong defends easily.
Nolan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nolan wants to sweep here but Chong controlling him for the moment.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Chong trying to control but Nolan is working from the bottom. Chong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Nolan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nolan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Nolan rushes Chong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chong wants a takedown but no success here.
Nolan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chong's elbow.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chong gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Nolan pushes Chong off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nolan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nolan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nolan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Nolan trying to control the action but Chong is working from the bottom.
Nolan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nolan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nolan has knee on belly and moves into mount. Nolan lands a couple of good shots and Chong has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Nolan wants to control but Chong manages to buck him off and is now in Nolan's guard! Nice work there by Chong! Nolan wants to sweep here but Chong controlling him for the moment. Nolan trying to control the position here. Nolan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chong's guard.

Chong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chong is working an open guard so Nolan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nolan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chong's half guard. Nolan wants to take a breather but Chong is having none of it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nolan in particular looking to stall. Nolan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Oisin Nolan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nolan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chong is trying to defend but Nolan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Nolan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Nolan drives through and clinches with Chong against the cage.
Nolan has clasped his hands together around Chong's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Nolan working the ground and pound.
Nolan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Chong to his feet. Oisin Nolan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nolan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nolan showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nolan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chong is trying to defend but Nolan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nolan drops an elbow to the side of Chong's head. Nolan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nolan scoring with strikes to the body and head. Chong is staying active underneath Nolan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nolan is looking to advance position but Chong won't allow it. Nolan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Nolan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nolan is continuing to stall.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Chong is trying to get back to full guard. Nolan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Nolan working over Chong with some ground and pound. Chong looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nolan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nolan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Chong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chong tries to get out of the position.

 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ching Chong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nolan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nolan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Oisin Nolan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Nolan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nolan closes the distance and clinches. Chong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nolan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Nolan has Chong pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nolan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chong tumbling to the mat - Nolan dives into Chong's guard. Chong preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chong isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nolan stacks Chong on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nolan! Nolan lands a nice forearm strike.
Nolan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Chong to his feet.
Nolan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nolan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nolan looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Nolan slips nicely into half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nolan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ching Chong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nolan wants to pass the guard but Chong is defending well. Oisin Nolan has got the better of the ground game so far. Nolan is looking to take a break and control but Chong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chong wants to improve his position but Nolan is controlling well.
Nolan uses his free foot to push down on Chong's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chong.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nolan manages to capitalize on a mistake by Chong to take his back! Nolan is landing with strikes from the back.

Nolan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Chong is defending well though. Nolan let's go of the attempt for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight! Oisin Nolan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nolan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
