Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikhil Moon (ranked 1919 p4p, 5259 weight class) and Sigandi Legend Jr (ranked 250 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikhil Moon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nikhil Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sigandi Legend Jr!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legend Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Moon counters with a head kick that drops Legend Jr!
Legend Jr is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Moon stands and throws Legend Jr's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Legend Jr striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Legend Jr tries to buck Moon off but Moon is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moon staying calm.
Moon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Moon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Legend Jr is trying to get back to half guard.
Legend Jr misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Legend Jr wants to control but Moon postures up.
Legend Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Moon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee asks Moon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Moon prefers to stall for the moment though.
Legend Jr wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Legend Jr tries for a takedown but Moon circles away easily
and Moon counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Sigandi Legend Jr has been cut.
Legend Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moon as he jumps to the side.
Nikhil Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sigandi Legend Jr.

and Legend Jr is countered with a crisp right hand from Moon that sends him to the canvas! Moon follows him to the mat into side control.
Legend Jr is still in real trouble! Can Moon finish him?

Moon continues to stall.
Legend Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Moon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Legend Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Legend Jr seems a little lost for a moment, as Moon dominates the positioning.
Legend Jr seems to have recovered his senses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Legend Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.
Legend Jr tries to improve position but can't.
Legend Jr throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Moon taking a breather here.
Moon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Legend Jr can't do much from the bottom here.
