The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Our spies down at at Hammer House of Horror inform us that Scott has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Chai controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Scott is on top in guard.

Scott controlling his opponent.

Chai is in all sorts of trouble here.
Chai is working hard here to advance position.
Scott sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Chai is looking to improve his position but Scott isn't that keen on the idea.

Chai sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Chai is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Scott seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that Scott has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Chai wants to control but Scott is keeping busy.
Scott is pressing down on Chai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chai is holding on for now.

Chai is pressing down on Scott's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
