Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tron Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Plumpman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalle Plumpman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tron Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Plumpman! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plumpman connects with a looping right hand.
Tiger shoots in but no luck this time. Tiger darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Tiger is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tiger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tiger trying to pass the guard but Plumpman defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tiger seems to be looking for submissions.
Plumpman won't allow Tiger to pass to mount. Tiger is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Plumpman sees it coming and defends easily. Tiger is looking for a kimura but Plumpman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tiger to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tiger is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tiger works his way into full mount! Tiger tries to control but Plumpman wriggling away. Tiger throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Plumpman because Tiger loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger controlling from mount. Tiger is looking to work his way around to Plumpman's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Plumpman wants to control but Tiger is having none of it. Tiger content just to control the position here. Tiger avoids the attempt from Plumpman to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tiger sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Plumpman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tron Tiger dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Some wild striking there from Plumpman.
Plumpman throws a right and a left that both miss. Tiger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tiger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Plumpman is fending him off so far but Tiger persists. Nope, Plumpman circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plumpman's corner calls for a 1-2. Plumpman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Tiger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tiger throws and elbow that misses. Plumpman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tiger's guard. Nice move by Plumpman!
That's one minute gone in the round. Plumpman preventing the sweep. Tiger managing to control the position. Tiger not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Plumpman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tiger is keeping the position for now. Plumpman stopping the sweep attempt from Tiger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tiger has his foot on Plumpman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Plumpman works his way back into a safe position though. Tiger looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Plumpman passes into side control.
Tiger wants to control but Plumpman postures up. Tiger is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The strikes coming from Plumpman are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Plumpman trying to control the position but Tiger is working away. You can see the frustration on Tiger's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tiger shoots in and drives through. Plumpman sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tron Tiger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tiger tries for a takedown but Plumpman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Plumpman throws a right and a left that Tiger avoids nicely. Tiger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tiger there as he acknowledges the shot. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Tiger throws a big shot that misses. Tiger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tiger shoots for a double leg takedown but Plumpman sprawls well. He's pushed Tiger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tiger is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Plumpman. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kalle Plumpman will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Tiger on the wrong end of a nice jab. Plumpman lands with a nice combination. Tiger backs away looking to recover. Tiger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Plumpman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tiger thinking. Tiger takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tiger pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plumpman throws a right hand that Tiger ducks under and follows up with a left that Tiger also avoids with ease. Plumpman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Plumpman tries to bum rush Tiger with a series of wild strikes but Tiger uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plumpman throws a nice looking combination but Tiger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tiger with a lazy takedown attempt and Plumpman counters with a nice uppercut. Plumpman misses with a body shot.
Plumpman waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Tiger. Tiger misses with a takedown attempt and Plumpman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A telegraphed right hand from Plumpman misses the target. Tiger avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tiger fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tron Tiger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tiger fails with the takedown and Plumpman counters with a one-two to the body. Plumpman throws out a loose jab but Tiger uses good head movement to avoid it. Tiger defending well as Plumpman loads up on a big left hand. Plumpman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tiger tries to land a front kick but Plumpman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Tiger tries for a takedown but Plumpman circles away easily and Plumpman counters with a left and a right that stings Tiger. Plumpman misses with a two punch combination.
Plumpman misses with a double jab.
Plumpman throws a right and a left that Tiger avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tiger ducks under a wild hook from Plumpman. Tiger dodges the punch combination from Plumpman.
Plumpman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tiger in his tracks. Plumpman lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tiger dives in and grabs Plumpman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Plumpman pushes down on Tiger's head and hops out. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tiger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that's the end of the fight! Kalle Plumpman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Plumpman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
