Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zakir Jumayev (ranked 1486 p4p, 1703 weight class) and RollBack TheNineteenth (ranked 196 p4p, 216 weight class). Jumayev comes to the cage accompanied by Side to Side. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zakir Jumayev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, RollBack TheNineteenth! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jumayev jabbing away but nothing is landing. TheNineteenth throws a lazy uppercut
and Jumayev counters with a nice right hand that sends TheNineteenth toppling to the canvas! TheNineteenth scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jumayev finish him?! Jumayev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. TheNineteenth swings for the body but Jumayev moves out of range.
Jumayev swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. TheNineteenth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jumayev was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. TheNineteenth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! TheNineteenth throws a looping overhand right but Jumayev ducks down to avoid it. Jumayev throwing a counter right hand but TheNineteenth manages to avoid it. TheNineteenth jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jumayev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as TheNineteenth throws out the jab. TheNineteenth falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jumayev counters with a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jumayev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A telegraphed right hand from TheNineteenth misses the target. Jumayev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. TheNineteenth sees it coming and avoids it easily. TheNineteenth throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jumayev counters with a straight right hand. Nice defenses there by TheNineteenth. TheNineteenth throws a lazy uppercut
and Jumayev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jumayev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight. TheNineteenth throws a poor cross that misses
and Jumayev counters with a straight punch to the midsection. TheNineteenth misses with a right hand and Jumayev counters with a crisp right hand that drops TheNineteenth! Jumayev lets TheNineteenth back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
TheNineteenth is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! TheNineteenth rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jumayev counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zakir Jumayev! In his post fight interview, Zakir Jumayev started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
