Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonio Branco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nils De Wilde!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Wilde tests Branco's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A lazy left from De Wilde finds it's target.
De Wilde lands with a shot to the body.
Branco avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Branco takes one to the side of the head.
We've been hearing reports that Branco has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
De Wilde lands a big head kick that sends Branco tumbling to the mat! De Wilde takes a step backwards and waves Branco back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Branco is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Branco takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Branco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Branco shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from De Wilde.
De Wilde defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Branco.
Branco seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De Wilde lands a head shot.
De Wilde cracks Branco with a hook to the temple - Branco is on wobbly legs here! De Wilde swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Branco falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! De Wilde wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nils De Wilde!
