Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredrik White (ranked 1191 p4p, 1941 weight class) and Eusebio Montoya (ranked 162 p4p, 236 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think White might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eusebio Montoya!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White moves into the clinch.
Montoya is trying to push White away but White has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Montoya swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Montoya can't find room to land a body shot as White controls the action.
Montoya is trying to break the clinch but White is controlling him.

White pushes off an throws an elbow but Montoya leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
White throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Montoya blocks it with crossed arms.

Montoya is looking to break free of the clinch but White has double underhooks.
Montoya's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
White misses with an elbow strike.
White is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Montoya is keeping busy.
Montoya breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White gets a clinch.
Montoya's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Montoya swats him away and circles back towards the center.
White swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Montoya counters with an inside leg kick.
White throws a body punch but Montoya moves out of range.
White clinches with his opponent.
Montoya is trying to break the clinch but White is controlling him.

Montoya breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Montoya connects with a body shot.
Montoya throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.

White lands a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White misses with the combination.
As White backs off Montoya throws a huge counter combo but White manages to avoid it all.
Montoya gets tackled into the cage by White. White maintains the clinch.

White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montoya circles away quickly and effectively.
White throws a right hand that misses
and Montoya counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Fredrik White has been cut.
Montoya misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Montoya scores with a shot to the body.
Montoya throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent White stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
White misses with a two punch combination.

Montoya swats away the attempt to clinch by White.
White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Montoya swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Montoya slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Montoya lands a head kick. White smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Montoya throws a body punch but White moves out of range.
White lands with an overhand left.

White moves in looking to clinch but Montoya pushes him off.
Montoya swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Montoya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
White is looking to clinch.

White takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
White is rocked!
Montoya lands a brutal uppercut that launches White off his feet! White tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eusebio Montoya!
