Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiamat Tenkula (ranked 1000 p4p, 497 weight class) and Noah Diaz (ranked 130 p4p, 67 weight class). Diaz has chosen OPULENT as his entrance music. Tiamat Tenkula has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiamat Tenkula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noah Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a low kick.
Tenkula swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tenkula doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tenkula moves out of range of the leg kick from Diaz.
Diaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tenkula.
Tenkula throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely.
Diaz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tenkula is landing a low percentage of strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tenkula.
Tenkula scores with a nice right hand.

Diaz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little jabbing left from Diaz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Some bone on bone action there as Diaz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Diaz counters with a nice uppercut.

Diaz delivers a nice body kick.
Tenkula throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tenkula backing away here, and Diaz unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Tenkula throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diaz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Diaz.
Tenkula avoids a punch combination nicely.

Diaz tries to move into range but Tenkula moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tenkula looks to land a right hand but Diaz moved out of range.

enabling Tenkula to counter with a crisp jab.

and Tenkula counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Diaz slips a jab from Tenkula.
Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Tenkula.
Tenkula misses with a looping left.
Diaz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tenkula throws a lazy head kick
and Diaz counters with a right hand that sends Tenkula tumbling to the canvas! Can Diaz finish him? He dives into Tenkula's guard looking to do just that!
Tenkula is rocked!
Tiamat Tenkula's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diaz controlling from the top position.
Tenkula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground.

Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Tenkula is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tenkula is looking to stand back up but Diaz counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tenkula.
Well, if Diaz is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tenkula tries to kick Diaz off but Diaz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Diaz is pressing down on Tenkula's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tenkula is holding on for now.
Diaz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tenkula doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diaz.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tenkula is trying to escape back to his feet but Diaz uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Diaz in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Tenkula is trying to buck Diaz off.
Diaz trying to control the position but Tenkula is working away.
Tenkula wants to get back to his feet but Diaz drags him back down.
Diaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tenkula knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tenkula is pushing Diaz's head away, looking to escape. Diaz manages to hold on to the position though.
Diaz is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tenkula is trying to escape and Diaz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tenkula is forced to tap! Nice work there by Diaz! Very nice indeed!
