Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Reilly (ranked 552 p4p, 2596 weight class) and Wolfric Moon (ranked 68 p4p, 240 weight class). Reilly comes to the cage accompanied by Cannonball/ The Breeders. Moon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bilmuri - Talkin' 2 UR Ghost. Gregor Reilly has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregor Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wolfric Moon!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly cracks Moon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Moon throws a hook but Reilly avoids it easily.
Reilly appears to be looking for a big counter.
Reilly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reilly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Reilly slips a straight right by Moon.
We've been informed that Moon has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Moon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Reilly misses its target.

Moon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reilly manages to avoid it.
Moon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Reilly connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Reilly throws a body shot but no joy.
Moon drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Reilly defends it well.

and Reilly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Moon looks to throw the jab but Reilly is out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reilly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Moon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reilly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Reilly sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Moon's guard.
Moon wants to improve his position but Reilly is controlling well.

Reilly frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Reilly trying to control but Moon is having none of it.
Moon is trying to escape the mount.
Moon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
It looks like Wolfric Moon has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reilly scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Moon is rocked!
Moon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Reilly pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Moon tries to hold on but Reilly pushes him away.
Moon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reilly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moon is desperately trying to improve his position but Reilly has a good base and remains in mount.
Reilly scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Moon is still in real trouble! Can Reilly finish him?

BOOM! Reilly connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Moon tries to lock up and control but Reilly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Moon seems to have recovered his senses.
Moon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Reilly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That has opened up Wolfric Moon's cut even more.
Moon wants to control but Reilly is keeping busy.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Reilly is pressing down on Moon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Moon is holding on for now.

Moon is staying active underneath Reilly, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reilly lands a nice short elbow.

Wolfric Moon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wolfric Moon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gregor Reilly!
Gregor Reilly really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bloodbath MMA Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
