The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sikolova!
Juan Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sikolova tries to bum rush Martinez with a series of wild strikes but Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A swing and a miss from Martinez.
Sikolova clinches with his opponent.
Martinez swings wildly with an uppercut but Sikolova uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sikolova is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Martinez pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Martinez blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Martinez lands a shoulder strike.
Sikolova on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sikolova escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sikolova shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Martinez is trying to defend but Sikolova finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Martinez is trying to escape back to his feet but Sikolova uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martinez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sikolova has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Martinez tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Martinez is trying to get back to his feet but Sikolova has full control of the position and if anything, Martinez has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Martinez won't enjoy being in this position. Sikolova looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Martinez is tapping - it's over boys! Sikolova picks up the submission victory!
