Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawson (ranked 2553 p4p, 1946 weight class) and Mac Ryan (ranked 283 p4p, 219 weight class). The key to victory for Jack Dawson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan tries to clinch but Dawson moves out of range.
Ryan throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Dawson to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Mac Ryan has been cut.
Ryan misses with a head kick.
Ryan drives through with a takedown into Dawson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ryan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dawson to the ground. Ryan is now in Dawson's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ryan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dawson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ryan wants to control from the top but Dawson keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ryan has his foot on Dawson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dawson works his way back into a safe position though.

Dawson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ryan locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Dawson is forced to tap!
