Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raven Harris (ranked 112 p4p, 76 weight class) and David Choke (ranked 16 p4p, 12 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raven Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 23 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choke fails with a takedown attempt. Harris misses with a body kick. Choke with the counter takedown but Harris avoids it easily. Choke misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Choke tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris looks to throw the jab but Choke is out of range. And Choke tries to counter it with a takedown but Harris pushes his down on his head and steps out. Choke is trying hard to land a takedown here. Harris sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Raven Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Choke. Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Harris moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harris sprawls well. Harris wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Choke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harris circles away. Good work by Choke as he checks the leg kick. A jab from Harris misses. Choke changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Choke misses with a takedown and Harris counters with a solid body kick. Harris throws a body shot but no joy. Choke changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Harris tries to land a body kick so Choke counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harris regains half guard. Choke is working for a kimura but Harris is defending it quite comfortably.

Choke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Harris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Harris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Choke throws a big elbow that misses. Choke with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Harris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Choke. Harris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Choke manages to get himself to full guard.

Great action here. Choke is looking to get to half guard. Harris sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Harris blocks Choke's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Choke is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Choke prevents Harris from improving his position. Choke is trying to work for a kimura but Harris is defending well.
