Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau (ranked 582 p4p, 643 weight class) and Nicholas McDonald (ranked 82 p4p, 90 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nicholas McDonald! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costeau throws a hook but McDonald blocks it. McDonald swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Costeau is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Costeau ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McDonald avoids the body shot from Costeau.
We've been told by Costeau's head coaches at Champion Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Costeau moves out of range of the leg kick from McDonald. McDonald throws a nice outside leg kick. McDonald drops his hands momentarily and Costeau takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. McDonald keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McDonald appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Costeau takes a shot right to the bread basket. Costeau tried to score with a low kick but McDonald checks it. McDonald displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Costeau throws out the jab. McDonald misses with a body shot
and Costeau counters with a stiff right hand. Costeau tries to land a body kick and McDonald counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. We've been informed that McDonald has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. McDonald throws a head kick that Costeau semi-blocks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McDonald throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Costeau moves into range and connects with a jab. McDonald lands a big head kick that sends Costeau to the canvas! McDonald follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
