Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenyon Collier (ranked 3363 p4p, 3589 weight class) and Willy Klarenet (ranked 0 p4p, 370 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenyon Collier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Klarenet! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collier bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Collier is looking to counter punch. Klarenet lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Klarenet.
It looks like Kenyon Collier has been cut. Collier keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Klarenet. Collier appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Sloppy strikes from Klarenet. Those never looked like landing. Klarenet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Collier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Collier misses with a wild body shot. Klarenet shoots in but Collier avoids the takedown attempt easily. Klarenet moves into range and clinches up with Collier. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Collier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Klarenet swinging wildly here.
Collier drops down looking for a counter takedown but Klarenet sprawls and moves away. Collier moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klarenet is trying to force a seperation but Collier has the dominant position. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Collier obliges. Klarenet looks winded! Klarenet gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Collier.
Collier pulls guard effortlessly. Collier keeping moving, preventing Klarenet from controlling successfully. Collier pulls Klarenet in close to his closed guard and prevents Klarenet from doing any damage or advancing position. Klarenet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Collier is keeping the position for now. Collier controlling Klarenet's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Klarenet trying to move into half guard but instead Collier has managed to sweep! Collier engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Klarenet has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Collier can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Collier content to stall in guard here. Collier wants to pass the guard but Klarenet is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collier is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Collier passes Klarenet's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Collier keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Collier scoring with strikes to the body and head. Klarenet is trying to stand back up but Collier is controlling him
Collier passes the guard and advances to mount! Klarenet is in a horrible position here. Collier smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Collier with shots to the head and body - Klarenet looks very uncomfortable down there.
Klarenet is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Collier controlling from the full mount. Klarenet is still in real trouble! Can Collier finish him? Collier loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Klarenet scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Collier land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Collier stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenyon Collier! An out of breath Kenyon Collier thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. The defeated Willy Klarenet had this to say: 'Awwwwww mann. For focccksss sake. This guy... Ill be back soon. WOOOOOOO.'.
