Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wanderlei Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan Finch! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Finch has time to react. Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Finch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it. Finch on the wrong end of a nice hook. Finch lands a jab-cross combination. Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Finch scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Finch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away. Finch misses with a looping right. Silva scores with a body shot.
Finch tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range. Finch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it. Finch slips under a jab from Silva. Finch ducks under a wild hook from Silva. Silva throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva sends Finch crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Silva is motioning to the referee to let Finch up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Finch is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Finch misses with a body punch
and Silva counters with a nice uppercut. Finch throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silva counters with a right hand to the body. Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Finch tries to clinch and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva is figuring out what he wants to do next. Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Silva controlling the action here. Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Finch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva controlling the action here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Finch can do anything to dispel that myth. Finch is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.
Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Finch is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Finch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Finch wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Silva throwing shots but Finch is blocking nicely. Silva trying to mount his opponent but Finch defends it. Silva scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Silva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Finch sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Silva controlling the action here. Silva lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Finch is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva tries to pass to full mount but Finch defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva lands with a punch from half guard. Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Finch is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva drops an elbow to the side of Finch's head. Silva is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Finch has managed to free his arm - good work. Silva is looking for a kimura but Finch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage. Silva is breathing heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Finch wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Finch lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Silva takes a swing at Finch's ribcage but misses. Finch has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Finch prevents Silva from breaking the clinch. Silva lands with a left to the head. Finch tries for a takedown. No joy.
Finch jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Silva advances to half guard. Silva slips a nice elbow through Finch's hands, connecting with Finch's forehead. Finch wants to get back to full guard but Silva has passed into side control. Finch manages to regain half guard. Good work. Finch is breathing heavily. Silva is trying for a kimura here. Finch looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Silva wins by kimura!
