Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theodore Rothschild!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 20 - 2, fighting out of New York, Eric Kronke!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rothschild lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kronke throws a right hand that Rothschild ducks under and follows up with a left that Rothschild also avoids with ease.
Kronke misses with a hook.
Rothschild takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A counter left hand to the body from Rothschild misses its target.
Rothschild moves out of range of the body kick from Kronke.
Rothschild keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rothschild throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kronke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kronke misses the body punch
and Rothschild connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kronke works Rothschild's body with a nice hook.
Kronke throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rothschild counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rothschild blocks a jab.
Rothschild throws a jab but it's blocked by Kronke.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kronke just misses with a punch to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Rothschild misses its target.
Kronke throws a head kick that misses
and Rothschild counters with a nice uppercut.
Kronke is rocked!
Kronke thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kronke looks to land a right hand but Rothschild moved out of range.
Kronke misses with a body shot.
Kronke looks to score with a jab to the body but Rothschild is just out of range.
Kronke looks to throw the jab but Rothschild is out of range.
Kronke ducks under a wild hook from Rothschild.
Kronke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rothschild moves away.
Rothschild drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Kronke onto his butt! Kronke pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Kronke is still on wobbly legs! Can Rothschild finish him?
Rothschild avoids the head kick by Kronke.
Kronke seems to have recovered his senses.
Kronke throws a leg kick
and Rothschild counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Kronke out cold! What a finish! Rothschild is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Theodore Rothschild!
