Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Orshawl (ranked 3824 p4p, 24675 weight class) and Asher Ax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asher Ax has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Freddy Orshawl! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asher Ax! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ax closes the distance and clinches up with Orshawl, looking for a takedown. Ax pushes Orshawl against the cage but Orshawl circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nice defenses there by Ax. Ax wants to clinch. Orshawl drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ax is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ax is looking for a sweep. Orshawl really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Orshawl in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orshawl working away. A lull in the action here. Ax striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Orshawl wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ax keeps working. Ax manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Orshawl is taking a breather. Ax says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ax is looking to improve his position.
Orshawl wants to take a breather but Ax is having none of it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Orshawl content to control rather than advance.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ax gets caught flat footed, as Orshawl shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ax looking to hit a scissor sweep but Orshawl is one step ahead there. Orshawl wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ax's closed guard. He's half up but Ax has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ax pivots and extends the arm, Orshawl falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ax! Well done that man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Asher Ax! After the fight, Asher Ax was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
