Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbino Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaito Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tanaka throws out a counter right but Slice avoids it with no problem.
Slice darts in and clinches Tanaka up against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Tanaka as Slice tries to tie him up.
Slice pressing his opponent against the cage.
Slice definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tanaka working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Tanaka lands a right hand.
It looks like Kimbino Slice has been cut.
Tanaka misses with a punch on the inside.

Tanaka lands an uppercut.
Tanaka throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Slices head.
Tanaka is working Slice over against the cage.
Slice is breathing heavily.

A short uppercut from Tanaka.
Tanaka lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tanaka swings wildly with an uppercut but Slice uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tanaka lands a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice throws a punch but it's blocked by Tanaka.
Tanaka lands with a short punch from the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tanaka.
Tanaka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tanaka lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Slice up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Tanaka from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Slice's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaito Tanaka!
Kaito Tanaka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
