Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erich Von Lewinksi (ranked 23412 p4p, 5034 weight class) and Benson Whyte Jr (ranked 539 p4p, 492 weight class). Von Lewinksi comes to the cage accompanied by German Anthem. Erich Von Lewinksi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Benson Whyte Jr's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erich Von Lewinksi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Benson Whyte Jr! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whyte Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Von Lewinksi's shoulder, as Von Lewinksi tries to avoid the shot. Von Lewinksi tries to move into range but Whyte Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Whyte Jr throws a shot from downtown. Von Lewinksi moves away and avoids it. Von Lewinksi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Von Lewinksi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Whyte Jr throws out a powerful jab. Whyte Jr thumps Von Lewinksi with a low kick. We've been hearing reports that Von Lewinksi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Whyte Jr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Von Lewinksi needs to keep his hands up - Whyte Jr had a free shot at his head there. Von Lewinksi shoots in for a takedown but Whyte Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Von Lewinksi darts in looking for a takedown but Whyte Jr gets double underhooks and turns Von Lewinksi into the cage. A little jabbing left from Whyte Jr on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erich Von Lewinksi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Von Lewinksi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Whyte Jr after a bit of a struggle. Whyte Jr manages to break the clinch.
Von Lewinksi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Whyte Jr's half guard. Whyte Jr pushes Von Lewinksi off and gets back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Whyte Jr throws a solid leg kick but Von Lewinksi takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Whyte Jr. Erich Von Lewinksi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Whyte Jr as Von Lewinksi shoots in. Whyte Jr throws a lazy right hand but Von Lewinksi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Von Lewinksi is defended easily by Whyte Jr.
That's one minute gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Whyte Jr enables Von Lewinksi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Whyte Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Whyte Jr scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Benson Whyte Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Whyte Jr takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Von Lewinksi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Whyte Jr as he jumps to the side. Von Lewinksi keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Whyte Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Whyte Jr with a nice calf kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Von Lewinksi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Whyte Jr can pounce on him.
Whyte Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. An inside leg kick from Whyte Jr misses. Some bone on bone action there as Von Lewinksi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Horrible takedown attempt by Von Lewinksi or perhaps it was just good defense by Whyte Jr, which made it look bad. Whyte Jr throws a leg kick but Von Lewinksi moved away. Von Lewinksi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Whyte Jr defends it well. Von Lewinksi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Von Lewinksi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Von Lewinksi eventually gives up the hold. Von Lewinksi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
