Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Psycho Killer (ranked 2331 p4p, 3589 weight class) and Scott Walker (ranked 276 p4p, 407 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Psycho Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Walker!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Killer lands but Walker takes it in his stride.
Killer throws an off balance right hand
and Walker counters with a one-two to the body.

Killer gets a clinch.

Walker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Walker manages to end up in side control.
Killer tries to improve position but can't.
Walker scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Killer to see if he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Walker has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Killer is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Killer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Psycho Killer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Killer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Walker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Walker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Killer has momentary wrist control but Walker slips an elbow through the middle.

Walker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Walker throws a right hand that Killer ducks under and follows up with a left that Killer also avoids with ease.

Walker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Walker drops Killer with a right and a left! Walker comes rushing in but Killer regains his composure and manages to keep Walker in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Killer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Walker lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Killer looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
