Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franco De La Cruz (ranked 4821 p4p, 2754 weight class) and Hernando Villalobos (ranked 418 p4p, 266 weight class). Villalobos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. El Sonidito kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De La Cruz swings for the body but Villalobos moves out of range.

De La Cruz fires out a quick counter leg kick but Villalobos just manages to avoid it.

and De La Cruz counters with a good low kick that Villalobos was not able to check.
Villalobos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Villalobos takes a swing at De La Cruz's ribcage but misses.
De La Cruz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Villalobos.
Villalobos just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromDe La Cruz.
De La Cruz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

De La Cruz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Villalobos.
It appears De La Cruz was looking to counter with a kick there.
De La Cruz drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Villalobos right on the button. Villalobos goes down! De La Cruz follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! De La Cruz gets the win via TKO!
