Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jun Jun Li (ranked 2070 p4p, 2859 weight class) and Nick Jokic (ranked 248 p4p, 326 weight class). Jokic has chosen The Serbian Song as his entrance music. Nick Jokic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jun Jun Li! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Jokic! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li dives in and scores a takedown into Jokic's guard. Jokic pulls Li in close to prevent any damage. Jokic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Li in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Li seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Li trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Li scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li is working Jokic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Li engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Li preventing the sweep. Li looking to pass the guard. Li slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Li throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jokic works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jokic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Li looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Li showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Li connects with a couple of short punches. Li lands a couple of decent looking shots.
It looks like Nick Jokic has been cut. Li loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Li is looking to work some ground and pound but Jokic has wrist control. Li sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jokic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Li controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Li accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jokic being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jokic throws an overhand right that lands on Li's shoulder, as Li tries to avoid the shot. Li with a poor takedown and Jokic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Li with a poor takedown enabling Jokic to counter with a crisp jab. Li shoots in and drives through. Jokic sprawls well. Jokic looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jun Jun Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li shoots and misses and Jokic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Li changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jokic tries to avoid it but Li manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jokic to the ground. Jokic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A nice side step and Jokic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Jokic misses with a wild combination.
Li misses with a takedown and Jokic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Li tries for a takedown but Jokic circles away easily and Jokic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Li will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nick Jokic will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nick Jokic's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Jokic misses with a right hand and Li counters with a single leg into guard. Jokic didn't expect that. Li showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Li postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Li sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jokic's head. Li throws a big right hand that misses. Li seems content to control from guard here. That has opened up Nick Jokic's cut even more. Li distracts Jokic with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Li is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jokic can do to turn this around? Li content to stall in guard here. Li throws a big elbow that misses. Li works over Jokic with some ground and pound from guard.
The cut above Nick Jokic's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jokic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Li controls the pace. Li trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Li has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Li sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li throwing strikes but missing. Li's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Li has his takedown stuffed and Jokic counters with a stiff right hand. Li moves out of range of the strikes. Nice uppercut there from Jokic. Jokic scores with a sloppy right hand. Li should have avoided that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Li will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Li with a lazy takedown attempt letting Jokic counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jun Jun Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jokic moves into range and connects with a jab. Li closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jokic's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Li throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Li is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Jokic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Li throwing strikes but missing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jun Jun Li dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Nick Jokic's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! A low kick from Jokic misses and Li counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jokic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Li throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jokic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jokic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Li lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jokic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Li is in close to Jokic's body, working some short punches and elbows. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Nick Jokic's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jun Jun Li! Jun Jun Li retains his heavyweight title! A very excited looking Jun Jun Li made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
