Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chengji Li (ranked 3027 p4p, 3442 weight class) and Isak Smith (ranked 336 p4p, 372 weight class). Isak Smith told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Smith scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nice shot lands for Smith.
Smith tries to keep at a distance but Li has taken the fight into the clinch.
Li's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Li jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Smith's corner is telling him to maintain position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Li is on top in guard.
Smith looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Li puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Li is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Li lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Smith!
Li avoids the attempt from Smith to control.

Li is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Smith tries to hold on but Li pushes him away.
Li looking to finish Smith with some ground and pound. This is bad for Smith!

Smith is rocked!
Li drops a big elbow. That's hurt Smith! More shots from Li and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Chengji Li thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
