Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhett Colett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bye Ng!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ng tries to clinch there but Colett circles away.
It looked like Colett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ng misses with a left hand
and Colett counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Bye Ng has been cut.
Colett uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ng.
Colett swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ng throws a combination that misses
enabling Colett to counter with a crisp jab.
Bye Ng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ng swings widly with a right hand
and Colett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ng pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Colett back to the cage. Ng follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Rhett Colett has been cut.
Colett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A quick step to the side and Colett tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ng throws an off balance right hand
and Colett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ng falls off balance throwing a combination
and Colett counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ng scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ng misses with a left hand
and Colett counters with a left to the body.
Ng misses with a combination
and Colett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ng scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Colett is rocked!
Ng misses with an uppercut.
Colett is looking to counter punch.
Oh Colett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ng pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ng misses with a straight left.
Colett was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Colett seems to have got his legs back now.
Ng lands with a cross.
Colett looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ng lands a right hand from hell, dropping Colett. Ng pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bye Ng!
