The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toney gets a clinch.
Toney swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cruz has Toney pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Toney manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cruz is trying to maintain a safe position but Toney gets an underhook and turns Cruz into the cage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cruz holds on and takes a little breather.

Toney wants to stand and escape but instead Cruz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Toney moves in looking to clinch but Cruz pushes him off.

Cruz feints and as Toney raises his hands in defense, Cruz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
