Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Oliveira slips a straight right by Thorn.
Oliveira is looking to counter the offense by Thorn and move into the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Thorn is fighting to break Oliveira's control of his arms but Oliveira is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Oliveira moves forwards but Thorn connects with a nice, crisp jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown but Thorn shows good takedown defense.

Oliveira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thorn.

Thorn is not content to let Oliveira control the position.

Oliveira moves nicely into side control.
Oliveira creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Thorn sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Oliveira goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Thorn has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Oliveira but great work by Thorn.
Oliveira can't do much from the bottom here.
Oliveira is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Thorn looks to land a right hand but Oliveira moved out of range.

Thorn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thorn wants it to stay on the feet.

Thorn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lance Thorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oliveira wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Thorn cracks Oliveira on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Oliveira falls backwards against the cage. Thorn follows up with more strikes that drop Oliveira to his knees. Thorn keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Oliveira! This one is all over!
