Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22607 p4p, 5226 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 139 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 129 - 30 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter B's waist but Fighter B gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter A off to one side. Fighter A shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fighter B makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Fighter A really felt that one! Fighter B tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter A sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter B somewhat. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter B but Fighter B pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter A is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Fighter B throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fighter A misses with a head shot. Fighter B uses the momentum to regain guard. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture. Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B has momentary wrist control but Fighter A slips an elbow through the middle. Fighter A throwing strikes from guard but Fighter B blocks nicely. Fighter A in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fighter A throwing strikes from guard but Fighter B blocks nicely. Fighter B trying to control the position here. Fighter A throws an elbow that misses. Fighter B uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter A's guard. Nice move by Fighter B!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A controls Fighter B momentarily but Fighter B frees himself. Fighter A being controlled here, momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter B. Fighter B working the ground and pound. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B staying calm. Fighter B misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far. Fighter B is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fighter A will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter A sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter B somewhat. Fighter A fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fighter A. Fighter B drives through with a takedown into guard. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter B controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B throws a big elbow that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Fighter A shoots in and bounces Fighter B off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fighter B manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter A manages to get himself to full guard.
Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A has control of Fighter B's left arm, preventing Fighter B from doing any damage. Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter B controls the pace. More stalling from Fighter B.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter A seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to avoid it but Fighter A manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter B to the ground. Fighter B escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fighter B only half commits to the counter leg kick. Fighter A tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fighter B defends well and Fighter A ends up having to push Fighter B into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Despite the aggression on Fighter B's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fighter A after a bit of a struggle. Fighter B works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter B is fighting to break Fighter A's control of his arms but Fighter A is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is trying to hold Fighter B in close to prevent damage but Fighter B has managed to pass into half guard.
Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to pass to mount. Fighter B content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
