Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AJ Lewis (ranked 2104 p4p, 2573 weight class) and Kyoto Costa (ranked 246 p4p, 291 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, AJ Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyoto Costa!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa stuns Lewis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Costa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Costa thuds a left hand into Lewis's body.
Lewis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lewis. Costa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Costa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
An inside leg kick lands from Costa.
Lewis shoots in but no luck this time.
Lewis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Costa throws a body punch but Lewis moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that AJ Lewis will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Kyoto Costa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Costa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
