Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Baron Welch (ranked 3564 p4p, 24637 weight class) and Ricardo Diaz (ranked 225 p4p, 282 weight class). Welch comes to the cage accompanied by Red Light. Diaz has chosen Green Goblin Mode as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welch swats away the attempt to clinch by Diaz.
Diaz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Welch.
Welch tries to keep at a distance but Diaz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Welch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
