Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mcdonald (ranked 3443 p4p, 4668 weight class) and Alex Dennie (ranked 321 p4p, 399 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Mcdonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Dennie!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dennie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mcdonald wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dennie has Mcdonald pressed against the cage, preventing Mcdonald from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mcdonald tries to score a body lock takedown but Dennie shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mcdonald just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dennie's brow.
Mcdonald swings wildly with an uppercut but Dennie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dennie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mcdonald gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mcdonald is trying to pull guard but Dennie has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcdonald is trying to drag Dennie to the mat but Dennie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mcdonald decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dennie to his feet.

Mcdonald tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dennie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcdonald somewhat.

Dennie goes for a double leg but Mcdonald avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mcdonald continues to drive forward.

Dennie closes the distance and clinches up with Mcdonald, looking for a takedown. Dennie pushes Mcdonald against the cage but Mcdonald circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mcdonald can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dennie is looking to escape.

Dennie tries to hold on but Mcdonald pushes him away.

Mcdonald has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dennie is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Mcdonald has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dennie avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Dennie is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Mcdonald celebrates the victory with the fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Nick Mcdonald!
Nick Mcdonald opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
