Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Schmedgar Dimms (ranked 4727 p4p, 2209 weight class) and Diego Armando (ranked 415 p4p, 226 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Schmedgar Dimms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego Armando!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

Dimms chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Armando can pounce on him.

Armando has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

I was talking to Dimms's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Dimms's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Armando connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dimms scrambles back to his feet.

He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Dimms's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Diego Armando comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Armando has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
