Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heera Ghuruwa (ranked 2937 p4p, 3056 weight class) and Jetstream Sam (ranked 340 p4p, 362 weight class). Heera Ghuruwa has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Heera Ghuruwa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jetstream Sam!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Ghuruwa.
Ghuruwa tests Sam's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ghuruwa. Sam shrugs it off though.
Ghuruwa throws a looping overhand right but Sam ducks down to avoid it.
Sam ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sam is trying to counter with his kicks.
Ghuruwa throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Sam decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ghuruwa's guard.
Ghuruwa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ghuruwa looking for subs off his back but Sam has passed one foot through into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sam is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ghuruwa defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ghuruwa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sam on the ground.
Ghuruwa is defending against the submission attempts here by Sam.
Ghuruwa wants to improve his position but Sam is controlling well.
Sam is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Ghuruwa tries to roll over but Sam keeps him under control.

Sam passes Ghuruwa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sam forces his way into half guard.
Sam scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ghuruwa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ghuruwa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sam should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ghuruwa looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Sam shoots in but no luck this time.

Sam attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ghuruwa is looking to counter punch.
Ghuruwa gets caught flat footed, as Sam shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ghuruwa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ghuruwa wants to reverse the position here. Sam has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Ghuruwa is forced to tap! Ghuruwa looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
