The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibraahim misses with the combination.
Monroe appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Ibraahim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ibraahim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Monroe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ibraahim throws a front kick aimed at Monroe's knee but Monroe avoids it well.
Ibraahim has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Ibraahim displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Monroe.
