Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Coles (ranked 1542 p4p, 1211 weight class) and Quentin Hayes (ranked 184 p4p, 153 weight class). Coles's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, HonestKey- Pass. On his way into the cage it seems that Phillip Coles has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Phillip Coles seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coles throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hayes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Phillip Coles has been cut.
Coles ducks under a wild hook from Hayes.
A little feinted left hand from Coles on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Coles avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Coles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice shot lands for Hayes.
Hayes walks into a straight right hand from Coles.
Hayes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Coles counters with a straight right hand.
Coles rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Coles takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Coles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Hayes takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hayes misses with a hook
and Coles counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hayes! Coles lets Hayes back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hayes is rocked!
Coles finds Hayes's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Hayes flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Coles lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Hayes will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phillip Coles!
