Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23059 p4p, 23203 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Salvacion is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 53 - 65 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 55 - 67 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Amiga gets caught flat footed, as Salvacion shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Amiga is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Salvacion stopping the sweep attempt from Amiga. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. Amiga thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Salvacion is now in half guard. Salvacion slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga trying to control from the bottom.
Salvacion with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Salvacion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Amiga's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Amiga trying to control the position here. Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga managing to control the position. Salvacion won't allow Amiga to sweep him here. Amiga looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Amiga misses with a kick to the body.
Salvacion gets caught flat footed, as Amiga shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga trying to stand up but can't free himself from Salvacion's guard. Salvacion pulls Amiga in close to prevent any damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Salvacion dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Amiga looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Amiga is looking to stand up but Salvacion won't let him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion wants to sweep here but Amiga controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Amiga decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Amiga fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Amiga gets a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Amiga is working away from the top position though. Salvacion is looking for a sweep. Amiga is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Salvacion trying to control from the bottom.
Amiga wants to get back to his feet.
Salvacion is trying to maintain the position but Amiga is very close to passing his half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga throws a lazy body kick and Salvacion counters with a nice body kick.
Amiga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Agbay Amiga dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Amiga stuffs the takedown attempt from Salvacion. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet. Amiga misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion shoots in and gets a takedown into Amiga's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion sitting in guard, not really doing much. Agbay Amiga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Amiga has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Salvacion is fighting to break Amiga's control of his arms but Amiga is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Salvacion trying to control but Amiga is working from the bottom. Amiga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salvacion controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward. Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion. Salvacion looks for a takedown but Amiga sprawls well. Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Amiga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Amiga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Salvacion is trying to get back to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga tries to stand but Salvacion is controlling his head.
And that's the end of the fight! Agbay Amiga showed his dominance in that final round. Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
