Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tristian Weiss (ranked 5105 p4p, 4913 weight class) and Jakup Idrizaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tristian Weiss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristian Weiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jakup Idrizaj! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Idrizaj changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weiss tries to avoid it but Idrizaj manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weiss to the ground. Weiss escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Idrizaj moves out of range of the strikes. Idrizaj was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Idrizaj staying out of range there. Weiss sets himself, and Idrizaj steps forward looking for the clinch! Weiss avoids it this time. Weiss throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Idrizaj sees it coming and avoids it easily. Idrizaj uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Weiss. Idrizaj misses with a two punch combination.
Weiss is looking to counter punch. Idrizaj steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Weiss. Weiss lands a nice shot that snaps Idrizaj's head back.
Idrizaj scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Weiss waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Idrizaj. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weiss lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Idrizaj slips under a jab. Idrizaj unleashes a big counter combination but Weiss bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Weiss jabbing away but nothing is landing. Idrizaj fails with the takedown and Weiss counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tristian Weiss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Idrizaj slips a jab from Weiss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Weiss cracks Idrizaj with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Idrizaj falls to his knees and Weiss doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
