PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shteve Erthegg (ranked 1725 p4p, 4404 weight class) and Teboho Matekane (ranked 135 p4p, 272 weight class). Erthegg kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Office Theme. On his way into the ring it seems that Shteve Erthegg has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shteve Erthegg seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shteve Erthegg!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Teboho Matekane!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matekane decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Erthegg preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Matekane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Erthegg did well to prevent Matekane getting side control.
