Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raul Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wesley Hess! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hess is trying hard to land a takedown here. Santos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hess looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Hess rushes Santos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Santos manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hess avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Santos working for a triangle but Hess defends it easily.
Hess drops back looking for a leg! Santos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Santos manages to kick Hess off! Hess jumps back into Santos's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hess defends well. Santos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hess with a nice head shot there. Santos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hess doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Santos is tightening it up a little... Hess has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hess reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hess taps out! Nice BJJ there by Santos!
