Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hawk Williamson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Heera Ghuruwa!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghuruwa connects with a crisp jab.
Williamson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Williamson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ghuruwa can pounce on him.
Heera Ghuruwa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williamson drops his hands momentarily and Ghuruwa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Good exchange - Ghuruwa coming out on top.
Ghuruwa missing with a left hand there. Williamson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Williamson tries to counter by clinching up but Ghuruwa breaks away and moves out of range.
Ghuruwa moves away from the strike by Williamson.
A little jabbing left from Ghuruwa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Williamson scores with a jab to the head.
Williamson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ghuruwa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ghuruwa scoring well with a low kick there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williamson throws a shot from downtown. Ghuruwa moves away and avoids it.
Ghuruwa lands a big head kick that sends Williamson tumbling to the mat! Ghuruwa takes a step backwards and waves Williamson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ghuruwa cracks Williamson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ghuruwa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Williamson to stand back up!
Williamson is rocked!
Williamson is aggressively charging in as Ghuruwa backs up avoiding any damage. Ghuruwa tosses out a jab and Williamson runs right into it face first! Williamson is out cold! Ghuruwa dropped down on all fours and is barking in Williamson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Heera Ghuruwa!
