Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Knox (ranked 2382 p4p, 879 weight class) and Pavo Kosar (ranked 259 p4p, 105 weight class). Knox comes to the cage accompanied by "Hey Man Nice Shot" Filter. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kosar's choice of entrance music: Čavoglave. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pavo Kosar!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kosar. Knox does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knox takes a swing at Kosar's ribcage but misses.
A little jabbing left from Kosar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kosar lands a body shot.
Kosar slips under a jab from Knox.
Knox moves out of range of the strikes.
Pavo Kosar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knox takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knox throws a lazy uppercut
and Kosar counters with a nice uppercut.
Knox avoids the body shot from Kosar.
Knox dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kosar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kosar. That's going to slow Knox down.
Knox swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kosar.

It looks like Pavo Kosar has been cut.

Knox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kosar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Knox slips a nice elbow through Kosar's hands, connecting with Kosar's forehead.

Knox throwing shots but Kosar is blocking nicely.
Knox wants to pass the guard but Kosar is defending well.

Knox is looking to advance position but Kosar won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kosar is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Knox rather than just go for the knockout.

and Knox counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kosar!

Knox has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Kosar is still in real trouble! Can Knox finish him?
Knox postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kosar in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kosar to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
