And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Gennari!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gennari scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Kesse Nesse has been cut.

Nesse appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kesse Nesse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gennari feints and then cracks Nesse's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nesse down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nesse drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nesse jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nesse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gennari tries to avoid it but Nesse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gennari to the ground. Gennari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kesse Nesse.
I think Nesse has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
