Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moussa Dje (ranked 2588 p4p, 2262 weight class) and Nikolai Kaspersky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nikolai Kaspersky was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dje wants to clinch but Kaspersky slips to the side
and Kaspersky counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dje looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kaspersky throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dje on the side of the head.

Kaspersky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dje. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dje throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kaspersky uses it to pass to side control.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kaspersky working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kaspersky connects with a nice short shot to Dje's temple.

Dje has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Kaspersky. Oh but Dje has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Kaspersky goes limp - he's gone! Dje jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
