Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tevin Shay (ranked 67 p4p, 385 weight class) and Jameel Johnson (ranked 8 p4p, 48 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tevin Shay!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jameel Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shay slips under a jab.
Shay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shay tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Johnson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Shay slips the punch.
Shay misses with a hook
and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shay swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johnson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Shay! Johnson lets Shay back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Tevin Shay has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A nice side step and Johnson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Shay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Shay scores with a jab.
Jameel Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shay slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Johnson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Shay right on the button. Shay goes down! Johnson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Johnson gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jameel Johnson!
Jameel Johnson is the new middleweight champion!
A very excited looking Jameel Johnson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Tevin Shay stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll look back on the film and see what I did wrong. I'll take this L... it's on me.'.
