Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felix Fenton (ranked 5125 p4p, 25425 weight class) and Vibino Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Fenton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vibino Cortes! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cortes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fenton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cortes thinking. Fenton leaves Cortes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fenton looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Fenton throws a nice looking combination but Cortes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fenton leaves Cortes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Felix Fenton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vibino Cortes. Fenton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fenton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cortes shoots in looking for a takedown but Fenton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cortes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fenton swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Cortes tries to score with a low kick but Fenton moves his leg out of the way.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Fenton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fenton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cortes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cortes is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Fenton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cortes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fenton is tightening it up a little... Cortes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cortes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cortes taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fenton!
